When FreeGreen asked the design community to bring progressive home ideas to mainstream America, limedesign’s Lauren Takeda and Michelle Soliman were among 400 entrants who answered the call — presenting a two-story, 1,795 square foot green starter home, designed with an open, loft-style.

The 3 bedroom / 1.5 bath design incorporates a mini garden courtyard that opens to the house — integrating outdoor space, contributing to passive cooling, and providing daylighting. All nice LEED-positive qualities.
