This year’s lunch time expo will feature more than 100 local green businesses, organizations and community groups, as well as local food!

April 16 & April 17 – Charcoal Park Earth Day Celebration
The event at Charcoal Park will feature live music, BBQ dinners from Everett and Jones Barbeque, a silent art auction, and tours of the Charcoal Park museum and gardens.
Charcoal Park is a film, art and performance space, and cultural and resource center that includes an organic community garden, a Black Americana historical museum and gift shop, a art gallery, and a library.

DEBRIS/FLOWS explores landscape, rubbish and the culture of nature.
Drawing inspiration from rocks, mudslides, systems theory, road-kill, oil spills, Little Red Riding Hood and other nature tales, this interactive dance performance and craft installation will transform an open plan warehouse space into an inviting labyrinth of seed swapping and vegetable planting stations; foods from local gardens; audio kiosks that evoke far flung landscapes; an original sculpture installation made from recycled plastic bags; and other interactive elements.
